RE: Razor Raod - Gimmie da scoop ***im back! w/ PICS!***

If you attempt it I'd advise you leave the women and children home. It can get wild and crazy out there.

RE: This Reality Will Affect All of Us

They don't want us discussing anything except what we do for toilet paper on this forum but U can find out why things are as they are on infowars.com I now use Scott paper instead of regular RV paper, breaks down faster and is cheaper. As for the World...The End is Near!!! But be sure it's Scott "single ply". We've never used RV toilet paper and never have had any problems using Scott. By the way, Strabe, we sorely missed being able to camp and ride at Easter. Unfortunately, work got in the way.

RE: Riding and camping in Baja?

You don't say how long it's been since you have been to Baja, but things are changing there fast! It's not the quaint little place it used to be. And besides, as I'm sure you know, it's hotter than Hades during the summer. So why suffer? I'd recommend the cool mountain air on the Paiute Trail (Utah) or Mammoth in the eastern Sierras (CA). They're both fabulous places to ride in the summer!

RE: Pet-Proof Screen

...A mod has decided that even though I put it where it actually belonged, he "knew" it really belonged here. He must be either far more intelligent than me, or Psychic... Yes, Dave is both very intelligent AND psychic! Anyway, you've got a very applicab...er..clever screen name there. :R

RE: Need help picking a GPS

I recently upgraded from an older Magellan GPS to a Garmin 60CSx and I couldn’t be happier with it. It has amazingly fast satellite acquisition time and is excellent under forest canopy or in deep canyons, even inside the house! It comes with a 64 MB card to load maps onto but you can purchase larger (I put in a 2GB). The screen is extremely easy to see, even in bright daylight. Didn’t take me long to be very comfortable getting around between the screen options. Do a search for pricing and you can find some great deals on the internet. I found the best price using a couple of product search engines (Pricegrabber/Bizrate/Mysimon) and purchased it for $297 -- and Garmin has a $50 rebate coupon that is good until 12/31/07. Bought the newest version of City Navigator off of ebay (best prices there) for $105, and Amazon had a deal on Topo 2008 for $59.10 (free shipping!). So look around before you buy. Ram sells the best handlebar mounts, unless you want to go for broke and get a Touratech. To avoid battery giggling and loss of power, you can hardwire the unit to your ride. This is a great site to check out your accessory options: cycoactive.com

RE: 4th Annual So Cal Rally at Spangler Hills. Nov 9-13, 2007

For the sake of record keeping and thread continuity, I'm adding a note to this thread showing that most of the post-Rally Rally talk has taken place in this thread: Rally Time!!! You are SO on top of things, Dave -- damn, I'm impressed!
